Optimize crashes Photoshop CC

Sorry if this has been reported before, and/or is a known issue.

I realize that AMD video cards and their GPU's aren't supported. However, when I try Optimize in the Preferences, it crashes Photoshop CC. I'm getting the message APPCRASH in admocl64.dll:
"Adobe Photoshop CC has stopped working"

Perhaps ... NI could handle this more gracefully?

Why? Some are supported (list).

Which version of AMD video drivers do you run?

Is the crash reproducible using the standalone version of Neat Image?

Thank you,

Hmmmm ... I see that the AMD Radeon 67xx series is supported.

Using "Computer Management", I see that the AMD HD 6700 reports:
Driver Date: 2012-Dec-19
ver 9.12.0.0

This does seem dated and possibly obsolete. I'll download and install the updated AMD Catalyst drivers and see if the problem goes away or persists.

I haven't tried the stand-alone version.

EDIT: I installed the latest WHQL AMD drivers, and now all seems to be joy. Thanks.
Driver date: 2013-Dec-6 ver 13.251.0.0

With my i7-2600k and AMD Radeon 67##, the Optimize changed from 4 cores and about 16 MPix/sec to 6 cores and 21 MPix/sec. There is very little difference between 4 cores and 6 cores. To me, there isn't that much difference between using and not using the GPU.

Very good. The latest drivers should indeed work without crashing.
