it seems to me that calling NI with the /sl switch keeps NI from writing any metadata (exif data etc) to the destination file. That's not nice, since I really want to use that switch. I have the Home edition 5.6. Is this a bug or intended? Is there any way around it?
Example calls:
"\Programme\Neat Image\NeatImage" images\test.jpg test.jpg /mp /aft
"\Programme\Neat Image\NeatImage" images\test.jpg test.jpg /mp /aft /sl
The first of these calls appends the metadata correctly, the second doesn't write any metadata.

Yes, I could reproduce the effect and it indeed seems to be a bug. We will check what is going wrong with this switch and will fix the problem in the nearest update of Neat Image.
The workaround at the momemt would be using only the first call above.
