Vista install: HTML help system is not installed

Post by seansiler »

Installed NI 5.6 on Windows Vista RC1, everything works except I am prompted every time I start up with an error box saying:

"HTML Help system is not installed in the Operating System. Neat Image user guide from the help system will not be available. Please use other formats of the user guide available at www.neatimage.com"

It is more annoying than impactful. Any ideas of how to get rid of it (or wait for a newer version?) Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can disable that warning in Neat Image options:

menu Tools | Options... | General | Do not check help file on startup

Then Neat Image will not try to use the help file.

Hope this helps.
