TIME FRAME

Post by JM »

I have a 500mgz iMac G3 OSX. About how long would it take to clean up an image from a picture that is 3mg off of an 8 megapixel camera ?
For this example lets say the picture was taken indoors with low light....a pretty noisy picture.
Just a general time frame would be appreciated, thanks.

I would expect 2-3 minutes for such an image to be processed on that hardware.

Please download the Demo plug-in /Mac. It will only filter a limited part of the image - one megapixel out of eight - and by multiplying the time spent on this one megapixel by eight you will get a good estimation.

Hope this helps.

Do you mean 2 to 3 minutes for the Demo version ?

If so, for my configuration it would take about 24 minutes for the full image with the Pro version.

No, 2-3 minutes for the whole image. Demo only processed a part of the whole image.
