Can I set default output folder?

Post by rsammis »

I'm using version 4.4 and cannot determine how to set a default output folder for queued (as opposed to batch) processing. It appears I have to set this for each image. Surely there's a way... Thanks!

You may want to try the following:

1) in Neat Image options set the "Folders | Use independent open and save folders" option;

2) create one job and save one output image to a save folder you want to use;

3) create several new jobs in the queue;

4) set AS (auto save) flag for every job in the queue;

5) let the queue process all jobs;

After processing each job, Neat Image will save the output image to the last used save folder (the one you specified in the step (2)).

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I did manage to discover just that technique for getting queued jobs into the right folder. I'd rather like to see this function as part of the queued jobs GUI in future so one could set the output directory more easily.
