I was doing some evaluation/testing with the demo version of this software on a noisy image I had.
I was extremely pleased with the results I was able to achieve. However, I was on my home computer and didn't have the filtered picture. So I downloaded another eval version and applied what I think were the same settings. However, I could not under any combination get the same results as I did the first time. So I drove and got my laptop and using the same original image on the same install I ran it again and again got nowhere near the results of the first time. What could have happened? As you'll see below, these aren't minor differences, but major.
I realize this level of noise reduction looks "plasticy" to most, but it suits my purposes well. How can I reproduce what I did the original time? I tried the "remove all noise" setting and everything.

How could this be???
auto filter
I just used the back wall both times (I remember because initially that's what I was trying to remove the noise from).

recommended?
Also, if I do want to achieve a more "aggressive" level of noise reduction, can I just include scene details then?
Or does that cause other image degradation? What should I do to force a very aggressive noise reduction?
thanks!
