'Selected image area is too small'

Post by Benners »

As a new user I am confused by the 'Selected image area is too small' message recieved when trying to Auto profile. The problem only occurs with larger images (6 & 12M from my finpix s7000) but I cant see a way to increase the box size to remedy this!!!!
Is NI simply advising me that at this resolution correction will be minimal or can I adjust the settings to accommodate?

Sometimes this happens and you just have to manually select a larger area that contains no visible details. To select an area just use the mouse and draw a new area. Probably there are no larger areas without visible details so Neat Image cannot find one and you also will not find it. In this case, you have to use an alternative image that was made in the same conditions and does contain a large featureless image area.

Hope this helps.
