I just put neat image demo on my laptop and tower. My 2.5mhz tower takes seconds to fix a image. My 1.4mhz laptop takes forever (10 min plus to profile and even longer to output. I like the program, but don't want to buy unless I can fix laptop speed.
I also have Neat Image on a 1.4MHz laptop and it works in seconds, not minutes.
Please check the power features of your laptop that may slow down processor under heavy load. Observe the processor utilization using Task Manager to see when the processor speed decreases.
