which profile?

Post by photocreation »

I loaded the new profiles of jpgs and raws for my coolpix 5700. I mostly have TIFF-pictures with ISO 100. Which profile shall I prefer?
Thanks, Bernd[/b]

- Probably the ones you would build yourself using TIFF images from your camera and Neat Image Batch Profiler. Because this would give you the most accurate filtration results as compared with using profiles for either RAW or JPEG images.

Yes. I would agree with the NI team. I did try the profiles from this webside, but they do not give accurate results. The noise is very dependant on the image sensor and is probably different between cameras of same make.

I have found the new AutoProfile featur of 4.1 to be better thab the profiles that I have built. It also allows me to make adjustments in my RAW conversion that would have thrown off my profiles by changing the noise.
