Profile file size?

Just curious, I created some profiles for my Minolta 7 Hi camera using the batch process in Neat Image 4 and emailed them to Neat Image.

The files that were created by Neat Image were in excess of 464KB. I was happy to see that they were posted on the Neat Image site already and so just for the heck of it I downloaded them and was impressed to see that the files sizes were merely 65.5KB. How did you reduce the file sizes and apparently retain all the information within the files?

Is this something I can do myself or does it require some special software? I plan to build a few more profiles for a couple other of my digital cameras and like the smaller file sizes. ( Kodak 290, Sony MVCD97 that I assume not to many others would be interested in ).

There is an option to save/not save the analyzed image area in profile. You can uncheck it to reduce file size.

Please ckeck it when you send profiles to us. This helps to verify and re-build profiles when needed.
