output file name is "*_filtered"

Ho do you retain the original file name after filtration. I would like to have a series of files in one directory and the filtered output in another but not have the *_filtered.jpg name applied.

In addition, can the filtered file REPLACE the original file in the same directory.

I canot find a way to do this in the manual.

Yes, you can do this using two options:

1) check Options > General > Allow overwriting existing image files

2) clear Options > Job Defaults > Filtered file name suffix
