EXIF and IPTC

Hi,

what is the current status of EXIF and IPTC conservation with neat image filtered images?

I already read that EXIF is only preserved with certain file format directions - jpg to jpg, tif to tif etc.

And I read that even when EXIF data is preserved IPTC data got stripped?

Unfortunately I couldn't even preserve EXIF or IPTC data with a jpg as input file and jpg as (only output option) output??

Does this work in the normal versions?

What is with the pro + version as plugin?

The latest version does preserve both EXIF and IPTC data in most cases. In the plug-in, it is a job of the image editor to preserve these data. If the image editor supports this then the data are preserved.
