Using the display to shoot the target

Any thoughts on the subject? I did it, an got very good results IMO.
I'm using an LCD with 25 ms response time, so even slow shutter speed wan't really needed. I compared the results with a profile created using a printed target, and the noise levels were a bit lower in case in the profile created using the LCD display. I remember having tried with a regular display, with not so good results...

Did you take an out-of-focus shot of the display and target?

If one of these shots was in-focus then higher noise levels would be received in the corresponding profile.
