Ooooh, version 4.0!

I haven't checked in here recently, so I decided to have a peek today... what a pleasant surprise! Version 4.0 is available for download! It says it is 2x faster than the 3.0 version... is that on top of the 2-3x speed improvement we already saw there? Or are you referring to the same optimization?

I just started trying out Helicon NoiseFilter last night, and even the free demo is quite impressive (it handled some test images better than NI 3.x, and was quite fast too). Of course, now I must do a proper test between NF and NI 4.0.

Damn, I have a couple coming over for portraits very soon, but I've downloaded the 4.0 package in the meantime. I can't wait to try it out!
