possibility of rotating rectangular selection area?

In a future version would it be possible to rotate the selection area for the noise profile? I've had a lot of cases where I could have meet the rectangle size requirements if I could have rotated it to fit it in a diagonal area.

Thank you for the suggestion, but this is not likely to be possible with the filtration methods we use.
