What are the advantage of doing a manual fine tune versus having the program do a auto fine tune? Does the program search for featureless areas automatically?
Can I do a auto fine tune when building a profile from the test image? If an auto fine tune won't work on the standardized test image it probably won't work on a more complicated real life picture!
manual versus auto fine tune
The advantage of manual fine-tuning is that you have more control over areas used for analysis.
Auto fine-tuning tries to fine-tune the device noise profile by analyzing the image in a special way and which works well when the image does contain flat featureless areas. Auto fine-tuning work well with the calibration target images.
