Maximum file size

What is the maximum Photoshop and tiff file size that Neat Image can process? Is the maximum size different for the plugin and standalone versions :?:

In principle, this is only limited by the system - software (Windows) and hardware (RAM). Neat Image loads image in the memory so it should fit to what is provided by the system. In practice, Neat Image can processes images close to 1GB in size. In the plug-in, the maximum size can be made higher by using a special techniquie, normally it is also around 1GB.

What is the technique to work with images larger than 1 GB witth the plugin version? Is 'tiling' used when processing the image so that images can be filtered that are larger than available PC ram? Thanks.

Yes, and the technique is to use NI from a Photoshop action. In this way, it can be applied to a large image.
