I have some comments on noise on cameras.

The gray patches, as Vlad said, is probably very much enough for most users.. However, I do believe that the profiling could be a tad better with saturated colours.

Yes, the "gray" is really all colours. But due to the way the image sensor works with a matrix of R,G and B pixels that are interpolated in the camera software it can make for different noise.

For example purely red is often more noisy (not to meantion less resolution) on my camera than purely green. The green also has twice the resolution than blue and red on most cameras too. This might be useful information to use when building a profile.

I think NI is a great product and I am happy to have bought it. Yes, there are things that can be better. But that is always the case. Lets all think in inovative ways to help NI become better.
