NI Pro 4.3 freezing CS3

Post by NZ_DoUn »

Every time I attempt to save a filter profile, a colored spinning wheel appears and CS3 freezes.

About the host:
iMac 2 GHz Core 2 Duo
1 GB Ram
OS X 10.4.10
CS3 with all patches applied

I have created a PS Action using NI (minus the filter profiles), every so often the system crashes also.

Cheers, Thomas

Hi Vlad,

I have been patiently waiting for an update to NI / Mac to resolve the hanging problem with PS CS3 when saving a device profile.

At the moment Neat Image is unusable to me because of this bug. I can not wait any longer, could you please also send me the "special updated version" of Neat Image / Mac?

Any word on when the next version will arrive would also be welcomed.

thanX,
tim

We are currently working on this issue to prepare one more test version to see if the problem has been finally resolved. I will send it to you once it is ready.

When the problem is completed fixed we will prepare an official update of the plug-in.

Thank you,
Vlad

Vlad,

Thanks for providing the update. This version seems to have solved the problem and is working well. There even appears to be a speed improvement.

We recently have updated to CS3 and do have the same problem as described, not that it freezes photoshop, but works dramatically slow, so it looks like it freezes the application

can you help me too?

P.S. running an intel mac pro 8 core 3 ghz
