photoshop cs2 freezes

Hi,

I have had neatimage for some time and think it is a great product.

For no apparent reason when I run the neatimage filter, photoshop stops dead and all I can do is 'alt-ctrl-delete' end photoshop and open again.

Because computers sometimes do very weird things I thought I would re-install neatimage, but the same thing is happening, very frustrating.

Any ideas?????

Does that effect occur when you OPEN the Neat Image plug-in in CS2 or when you APPLY the filter?

If it happen on open, please try to start Neat Image with the Ctrl key pressed. Otherwise, please let me know more about your computer and setup using this page.

Thank you for your very prompt reply.

Photoshop freezes when I go to filter - click on neat image and that is it!
It doesn't go to the window of neatimage where it checks the photo etc.

I hope to have a new computer withing the next few days so perhaps I will install it on my new computer (with vista operating system) and see how I go, if I have the same problem I will let you know.

I have had Neat Image since October 2005 and have never experienced this problem, I used to use it on a daily basis until now.

PS I have just tried using the filter with the ctrl key and it works like that!

I think it will work correctly now, even without ctrl.

You are right....it does now work without the ctrl key!
